Use It Challenge #1....

Rae Barthel is an extremely talented papercrafter and I love visiting her blog. She has started a new weekly challenge, Use It, inviting papercrafters to create using their existing stash! Like many, I have become a collector of paper, ribbon, embellishments, stamps, punches....oh the list could go on forever! Since I am trying to reduce my stitching stash, it only seems fitting that I also reduce my paper stash and make some cards in the process. You can never have too many handmade cards!

I am joining her challenge this week with a simple thank you card made from my paper scraps. Per the challenge, I am using a button, ribbon and rub-on I have had for a while. I just love pink and orange together...it is always so fresh and springy! I am so excited about this challenge and invite you to join in if you love papercrafts too! Even if you don't papercraft, I do invite you to visit Rae's blog. Her work is very creative and beautiful.

  5. Well that's a really cool idea to help use of the stash. I don't do papercraft much but it would certainly work for stitching too. Lovely card
