Sew A Brown Bunny....

To my own surprise, I actually did
some finishing today!
(I hate  finishing.)

iStitch "Sew a Brown Bunny"
Stitched on 36ct linen in
ST Maple Syrup & Chives

I stitched this one up last weekend and did the finishing for a small pillow this morning.  This was such a cute design....just perfect for Easter.    I still think it needs a little something and plan to add some brown chenille to the edges.
Thanks again Michele for the RAK!

I picked up this cute little container at the Dollar Tree just because of the sweet pink color.  Someone in blogland made a cute little flower garden using one and I decided to do the same.

I just love scrapbook paper!

With a little bit of scrapbook paper, skewers, paint and glue, I created a little garden that will sit on my office window ledge.  Best part is I can scrap it and do something else with the container when I get tired of it.

We are having a beautiful day.  So many parts of the country had horrible weather the last few days and my prayers certainly go out to them.

Thanks for all of the birthday wishes.  I do appreciate them and need to get busy
stitching on all of my new goodies!
I hope you are having a great day too.
happy stitching....

  12. What a cute finish! You do such an awesome job with your finishes it is hard to believe you don't like to do them.

Cute pink container. Love the flowers you made for it. So bright and cheerful. One of these days spring will show it's head around here, but so far it's a no show!

  14. Great pillow Karen! I think the chenille trim will be perfect with it.
I dislike finishing too. I find it's just too time consuming. Of course we have to consider the fact that I'm slow and half the time I don't know what I'm doing. No wonder I hate it!

Pretty flower garden. You can't help but feel cheerful when you see it.

I had this design stitched and sent to me as a RAK last week and it's so adorable, well then it's bunnies so what else could it be?
We've had beautiful weather here in England too and have spent most of it working in the garden ~ I'm jus wondering how much more stitching time I could get if I had one of your windowsill gardens instead!!!
    Have a good week xxxxx

  29. Gah! Your sew a brown bunny is gorgeous! Did you finish it by machine or hand?

You are right that Nan's stuff is great--there are a couple I'm also putting on my list. Love her blog. :)

Not that I've stitched many of them....not even a handful...but I'll tell you a secret (I hate stitching LHN's. I like to look at them. I hate to stitch them! :/)

But Thirteen Colonies is still calling my name! And gosh how tempting your floss toss is! GREAT choice, and can't wait to see your progress. (I don't even care for these "Colonial/Americana" style items, either!)

Good to hear that you are enjoying some fine weather and HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY!
