66.67% finished.....

...that's how much of the Crazy Challenge is done!
Here is finish number 10 ....
Plum Street Samplers "Olga"
stitched on 40ct Purely Primitive
w/ DMC

This design looked so simple and I just
knew I would breeze through it.  Not so...it
took a good week to get this little lady done.

I had been doing a lot of Olympic
viewing so that probably did impede my
progress somewhat.  Now what will I watch ...
I'm sad to see them end.

I just love the colors in this one...especially the
white pumpkin.   I think that will make
the cutest little pin pillow.

Another black kitty in the family...
can you see how thrilled Pork Chop is????

Thank you for all of your wonderful comments
on my trip to the west.   I am so lazy about
replying to comments but please know that I
do read them all and appreciate them all!

Well....I am off to see what other
stitching trouble I can find!
Have a great stitchy weekend!

  10. isn't that the way it goes.......something that we think will stitch up quick, takes so much longer than we think it will...

  17. That is a cutie pie that's waiting in my stash, too. It usually happens to me... when I think it's a quickie, it seems to take forever. Are you watching Atlanta playing?

  24. Olga is a very appealing design ... I love the colors, the alphabet and the way lots of small design elements were tucked into the larger motifs of cat and pumpkins. You did a lovely job and I look forward to seeing the final finish.

Love Olga...and that white pumpkin is an adorable element in the design...makes me want to stitch this one myself. Wasn't there a male cat design as well...off to Goggle it :o) A very lovely finish indeed!

  29. Your Olga finish is fantastic and I love that white pumpkin, too! Well done! I can't say that my Olympic stitching was very productive. I did more watching and frogging than I did stitching. Bummer.
    I love Pork Chop's picture.

  36. I love your finish of Olga, he's so cute despite the sour expression on his face. I'm sad to see the end of the Olympics as well, but the poor DVR was about ready to combust with all the hours we were recording.

I've been lax about responding to posts as well. I'm blaming it on the heat wave and that my computer is in the hotyest room of the house.

  37. You are really going to town on your finishes...good for you! Maybe if I stayed away from the computer, I could stitch more;)

"Olga" is so much fun even if Pork Chop doesn't think so...lol
