The Traveling Pattern goes to....

I really wish I could send you each the design!  The good thing is you still have a chance to be part of the stitcherhood once Patty is done so keep checking her blog to sign up!

I had the sewing machine out to do some finishing so I thought I would add this one to the pile. Not sure why the shape is so "wanky"!
I do have it sitting where I can remind myself daily of the message!

Well....I'm off to stitch.  I'm so close to finishing BBD "Moon Garden" so hopefully I will have a finish to share this week!   Thanks for visiting and all of your nice comments.  Hope you have a happy, stitchy weekend!

Traveling Pattern ready to travel...

Shakespeare Peddler's "Count Your Blessings"
32 ct. Vintage Buttercream
w/ ST Autumn Thread pack

This was such a fun stitch!  Of course I had to make it my own by "redesigning" the branch.

Translation:  I was too lazy to rip out my mistake so I am pretty sure mine will be unique!

I think I am going to finish it as a little pillow to
sit in my craft room.   It conveys a message
I need to remember each day!

Now it is another lucky stitcher's chance
to stitch this sweet design.

If you would like to be part of this new Traveling
Pattern there are a few rules:

1. Comment on this post, saying you would
like to be part of the Stitcherhood.

2. By leaving this comment, you agree (if you are
chosen) to stitch the design and send it along to the next person in a timely manner. If this means
dropping everything in your rotation to concentrate on this project...so be it. If you can't
bring yourself to do this ~ please don't sign up.

3. You must have an active blog to participate. If you have a blog but never post to it ~ you won't be chosen to be the next stitcher.
 4. This is a giveaway-type Traveling Pattern. That means you must follow it from blogger to blogger to enter each time it is ready to send along. Commenting on this post doesn't make you a guaranteed part of the Stitcherhood.

So far the Traveling Pattern has been stitched by:
 1. Sharon of It's Daffycat, Oklahoma, USA
2. Karen of Karen's Handiwork, South Carolina, USA
3. Are you next?????

If you would like a chance to be the next stitcher please leave a comment! The next stitcher will be chosen on Sunday, March 6th!

Fun stuff......

First....I was excited to learn I am the next lucky stitcher for Daffycat's new travelling pattern.  It came in the mail today and I wasted no time getting everything together.

 Shakespeare Peddler's "Count Your Blessings"

I decided to stitch this on 32 ct. LL Vintage
Buttercream w/ Sampler Threads Autumn Pack.
The threads have been patiently waiting to be used so this is their lucky day.  I hope to get this one stitched quickly so I can too offer up to another lucky stitcher.  Stay tuned......

Second......hubby and I were cleaning out the garage and I ran across some old goodies I had packed away!  I loved Ziggy in my "earlier " years and used to collect them.
I just had to pull out these little guys for
Valentine's, St. Patrick's, and Easter.

Aren't they the cutest?
Check out the bunny slippers on the Easter Ziggy... precious!

Well...I also found an old Ziggy cross stitch
booklet....remember these from the 80's?
(Yes...I have others too!)

Hope your day is special!

I just couldn't resist this one witht the sweet sentiment and bright colors.  Gotta love these DMC classic colors....743, 970, 945, 349, 702 and 898!  So this one will be waiting in the wings and yes....it will be stitched on good ol' Aida.

As always...thanks for visiting.  I do appreciate your comments and am amazed how many laughs and smiles I get from them.
Stitching friends are the best!
Hope you have a great stitching weekend...
