Ahhh....I just love fall and it has finally hit South Carolina this weekend. The crisp cool mornings and pleasant, sunny afternoons the past two days have been very invigorating! I was even motivated to clean my craft room and put away all the "stuff" strewn about the last few months. My charts are all filed away nicely, my threads are neatly organized and my pending exchanges are finished!
And...what happened to the clocks "falling" back last night??? I was so looking forward to that "extra" hour. Oh well....I guess the extra evening sunlight will be compromise enough.

While had my sewing machine out, I decided I would finish this freebie I stitched a few weeks ago.
LK "Noel" freebie
stitched on 14 ct. aida w/ DMC
I changed the colors to make it a little "brighter" and I love the blue and red together. They are not "conventional" but a nice change from the norm. I can't show anymore until my exchange partner gets a first glimpse. I am now off to do some"big girl" stitching.
I love those colors together too!!!! Yes, the time changes NEXT weekend as I was reminded this week....ugh...still leaving for work in the dark! These fallish temps are making me want to sit on my screen porch and have extra coffee!!!! Take care, Faye
ReplyDeleteLove the pillow. Warlock has the right idea. Nothing like laying in the sun.
ReplyDeleteYou've been a busy girl ;o) Your Noel is really lovely in those colors. Who would have thought!
ReplyDeleteOur time doesn't change until next weekend. I love the extra hour but not the darkness :o(
Happy Halloween!
Don't you hate the delay in the time change? I do! Although we lose an hour in time. But it's worth it just for it not to be so dark in the morning for at least a while. Next weekend! Love your Noel pillow!

Fantastic finish! Your cat is adorable. My first cat was a long haired all black female that I named Clarabelle. :)
ReplyDeleteNOEL looks great with the red and blue Karen. It's so bright and crisp. The gingham is a perfect finish for it.
ReplyDeleteOur time change is this weekend. While I like the extra hour, the days are shorter so...maybe I can start to stitch earlier now? (lol)
Looks as if you had a great time in MB with your friends. It's so much fun to share a common interest.
LOVE the Noel finish. Do you know if the freebie is still available somewhere? If not, would you be willing to pass it on? I love ALL things Lizzie Kate. Thanks.
