"Harvest Moon"....

I just couldn't resist stitching this little fall goodie
from Nan at Threadwork Primitives

Harvest Moon
Threadwork Primitives "Harvest Moon"
stitched on 32ct Sand linen w/Victorian Motto & WDW thread

I knew the finishing fabric I wanted to use so
I chose a piece of linen from my stash as well
as my thread colors to match.   Hopefully I
can finish this as a cute little pillow
to add to my fall collection.

This certainly puts me in the mood for some
cool, crisp autumn nights...unfortunately I will
most likely have a long wait here in
South Carolina.

Fall usually lasts about a week (if we are lucky...)
for us and this usually occurs in late
October/early November!

I shall wait.

My other favorite love begins tonight.....

.....college football....

I definitely know that fall is in the air when
the ball goes in the air.  Although it will be
97 degrees on Saturday afternoon as the we
kickoff in Death Valley (Go Tigers!), I can at
least dream of the cooler times to come.......

ahhhhh fall......

happy weekend!

  6. Love that fall piece and the fabric too. I will have to go add that pattern to my ever growing wishlist!

H.S. football started in our neck of the woods. My 6yr old daughter and her dad love watching the games. We live across the street and no longer have tv, so that is hubby's football "fix". ;)

  18. That is such a cute piece!! I love it. I made sure that nobody saw me doing this, but last night one of the neighbors must have had a wood fire in their fireplace. Most here do coal, which = Ireland to me, but the wood reminds me of autumns in Delaware and home and football games and bonfires and camping with my brothers and all that fun stuff. So, I opened the windows and just stood there, sniffing the air. Bliss. I love autumn! Enjoy the football game!
