CHS "Frederika"
Should be able to finish this one up this month....so glad to have that bird done. I wanted something easier to stitch during our trip to Atlanta and started this one.....
Goode Huswife "Carolina"
28ct coffee-dyed evenweave w/ recommended DMC
I love the colors in this one...especially her dress.
We had a fabulous time in Atlanta. First.....
We went to see Great Big Sea and it was the most entertaining concert I have ever been to. Also saw Corb Lund and the Hurtin' Albertans and he was surprisingly good. He plays a mix of country/folk and we came home with two of his CDs.
Next....
Horse sculpture made from common metal items!
We went up the road to Booth Western Art Museum in Cartersville, GA. Great museum worth visiting if you're ever in the area!
Hope you had a great stitching weekend and wishing you happy stitches....
Great progress, Karen! Both of these girls are near the top of my stash. It's fun to see them come to life under someone's needle! Hope your weekend was grand!
ReplyDeleteOh wow! Both are just lovely! I'm soooo relieved to see that I have the Carolina chart -- I was afraid I didn't have it! Whew! Glad you had a good time in Atlanta too!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful progress on both wips Karen!! I used to live in Cartersville and I never made it to the museum - so sad, huh? I worked at the Publix there for a few years. It was a nice place to live - I hated to leave.
