...that's how much of the Crazy Challenge is done!
Here is finish number 10 ....
Here is finish number 10 ....
Plum Street Samplers "Olga"
stitched on 40ct Purely Primitive
w/ DMC
This design looked so simple and I just
knew I would breeze through it. Not so...it
took a good week to get this little lady done.
I had been doing a lot of Olympic
viewing so that probably did impede my
progress somewhat. Now what will I watch ...
I'm sad to see them end.
I just love the colors in this one...especially the
white pumpkin. I think that will make
the cutest little pin pillow.
Another black kitty in the family...
can you see how thrilled Pork Chop is????

Thank you for all of your wonderful comments
on my trip to the west. I am so lazy about
replying to comments but please know that I
do read them all and appreciate them all!
Well....I am off to see what other
stitching trouble I can find!
Have a great stitchy weekend!
Olga is adorable despite what Pork Chop might be thinking. I love the Plum Street Sampler animals and recently stitched Sergei.

ReplyDeleteLinda
I really LOVE this design! I have to stitch Olga soon :) Pork Chop is cute as well!
ReplyDeleteisn't that the way it goes.......something that we think will stitch up quick, takes so much longer than we think it will...

Your finish looks great by the way!
Olga looks fabulous Karen! Great finish!

ReplyDeleteMary
LOL...both cats do have the same impression. And both look great.
ReplyDeleteYou're farther along than I am on the CJC! Good for you. Love Olga! Those pumpkins are adorable.
ReplyDeleteI love Olga. Darn it, I may have to get this one. Your stitching is lovely.
ReplyDeleteThat is a cutie pie that's waiting in my stash, too. It usually happens to me... when I think it's a quickie, it seems to take forever. Are you watching Atlanta playing?
ReplyDeleteI love this piece - your stitching is beautiful
ReplyDeleteOlga looks great and I'm sure your kitties will be pleased that you are honoring them with your stitching...aren't you?
ReplyDeleteOlga looks wonderful!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! That piece came out beautiful! And Pork Chops looks like she's modeled for it.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on a great finish, even if Pork Chop doesn't think so
ReplyDeleteI love your black cats, Olga and Pork Chop!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend.
beautiful! I love the colors in this piece. I need to pull out Boris and stitch him up.
ReplyDeleteOlga is a very appealing design ... I love the colors, the alphabet and the way lots of small design elements were tucked into the larger motifs of cat and pumpkins. You did a lovely job and I look forward to seeing the final finish.
ReplyDeleteAnother fantastic finish Karen. Gotta love those PSS designs!
ReplyDeleteBoth kitties are adorable, Karen! Hopefully Pork Chop (love that name!!) will warm up to the newest addition very soon :)
ReplyDeletePork Chops expression is priceless, LOL!
ReplyDeleteLove Olga...and that white pumpkin is an adorable element in the design...makes me want to stitch this one myself. Wasn't there a male cat design as well...off to Goggle it :o) A very lovely finish indeed!
Great finish Karen! Just in time for Fall:)
ReplyDeleteYour Olga finish is fantastic and I love that white pumpkin, too! Well done! I can't say that my Olympic stitching was very productive. I did more watching and frogging than I did stitching. Bummer.
ReplyDeleteI love Pork Chop's picture.
This is a very cute piece and I too love that white pumpkin.
ReplyDeleteHappy Stitching
Denise
What a cute finish Karen - so fitting for you being a cat person :). Love the striped cat - wondering what cute way you will finish this one.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on finishing Olga. She is super cute! She's waiting for me in my stash--I have Boris in progress so she'll have to wait her turn.

ReplyDeleteJen
I love your finish of Olga, he's so cute despite the sour expression on his face. I'm sad to see the end of the Olympics as well, but the poor DVR was about ready to combust with all the hours we were recording.
ReplyDeleteI've been lax about responding to posts as well. I'm blaming it on the heat wave and that my computer is in the hotyest room of the house.
Really cute design! Love it !
ReplyDeleteLove your finish ;)
ReplyDeleteI love your finish.
ReplyDeleteYou are really going to town on your finishes...good for you! Maybe if I stayed away from the computer, I could stitch more;)
ReplyDelete"Olga" is so much fun even if Pork Chop doesn't think so...lol
Olga is looking great and Pork Chop is so cute! They have the same look ! LOL!
ReplyDeleteThat is such a cute HD! Congratulations!
