Not sure where Saturday went, but I had the urge to play with some paper today and made some notecards....
Scrapbook paper is like a cheap drug to me and I just can't resist picking up new paper when I get a chance. I love making notecards and made a few today to share with friends.
I did have a finish last week....

Oh well...hope to go put some stitches in while I watch my Clemson Tigers beat up on Alabama....19-3 in the top of the 6th....there should be law against this abuse! ;)
I'd love to get into card making one day. Your cards are wonderful. Great Santa finish!

ReplyDeleteWonderful cards, Karen. I loved your saying, "Play with paper," because that's just the phrase I use when I do it!!! LOL Thought I was the only Carolina girl who said that! :P
ReplyDeleteYay, Clemson! 'though I'm a Carolina girl of the NC sort.
Hugs,
Deb

I love that Santa! I think LK has the most fun Santa patterns. :) You are a ninja card maker- very nice!
ReplyDeleteThe notecards are lovely and gongrats on the Santa finish - he's so cute!
ReplyDeleteGreat finishes with both the cards and the Santa!
ReplyDeleteGlad your Tigers are doing well. My 'Canes lost out in the super-regional this year.
Love that notecard on the very left! :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats on a finish and enjoy your game! :D
I love those Santa's too. I need to find out what years I'm missing and go purchase them. I've finished this one you've just stitched, except for the ball on his hat on 18ct linen (I think) with some speciality threads so that his trim is soft. I too would like to finish them into pillows to display on the back of my sofa some day.
ReplyDeleteCute cards, can we see a closer picture of them?
Your note cards are absolutely beautiful, as is the Santa!!
ReplyDeleteLovely cards, very pretty
ReplyDeleteSanta is great, he looks so jolly and happy

ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards Karen. You have got a great talent with paper :)
ReplyDeleteI saw what you made for Amy's Niece. Can you please tell me where you got the Palmetto Button? I am stitching the SC state flag for my Aunt and that button would be a great accent.
Take Care!!
Greetings from Australia. Your note cards are gorgeous, very inspiring.
ReplyDeleteLove the Santa too.
Very happy to have found your blog via Amy Stitches.
